The Haier 5000 Front-Load Gas Dryer matches the Front-Load washer with its streamlined look, up-to-date controls, and LED indicator lights to clearly display selections and cycle progress. The dryer features the same sleek, classic exterior with large front glass viewing window, and comfortable door handle. The ergonomic Electronic control panel is designed for easy and comfortable operation. Located at the front of the machine, the control pad is tilted back at an angle for easy viewing and features a cycle selection knob.
Options, Choices, Selections
Over-drying can damage clothing; items can become misshapen or discolored, and wear out long before their time. Haier's Front-Load Gas Dryer gives you a choice between 6 fabric care cycles in Auto Dry mode and 4 Manual cycles, along with 3 Dry Levels and 4 temperatures, so you can make the most accurate choice for whatever type of garment you wish to dry.
Auto Dry uses sensor dry technology to detect the level of moisture in the load and automatically adjusts the time for optimal drying. Choose a preset cycle designed around the type of load you are drying�Bulk Items, Heavy, White, Normal, Delicate, or Press Free. Haier knows that not everything needs to or should be dried to the same level, so you can customize your Auto Dry cycle with 3 dry levels�More, Normal, and Less dry.
With Manual Dry, choose from a regular Timed Dry or Speed Dry, Rack Dry, or Touch Up. Select from all 3 temperature settings, ranging from High to a no-heat Air Dry when running a Timed Dry or Speed Dry cycle. Choose Air Dry for items that use Rack Dry. A convenient Drying Rack is included for use with this cycle. It connects to the lint trap and extends into the unit for drying items like sneakers or delicate sweaters. Touch Up is a short cycle that shakes out creases and wrinkles in clothes coming out of suitcases and storage, or that have been sitting in the dryer too long after the end of a cycle.

The Haier Front-Load Gas Dryer does more for you, helping you stay prepared for the small obstacles and detours that life is known to bring. The dryer features a Wrinkle Saver to spare you the inconvenience of additional ironing when can't remove your clothes from the dryer right away. This feature helps prevent wrinkles from setting into your clothes once a cycle is over by tumbling laundry briefly every few minutes. Sometimes you need to recalculate, so the Less Time and More Time buttons on the control panel allow you to adjust the time on Manual control cycles already in progress quickly and conveniently for a more precise dry every time. The Damp Dry signal on the control panel can be activated to stop the dryer and alert you when the load is 80% dry, giving you the opportunity to remove smaller or more lightweight items that may have already completely dried. The Anti Bacterial function adds an additional level of protection by giving your laundry an extra blast of heat for a deep-down clean. Banish any worries of the dryer starting accidentally by activating the Child Lock. This feature also prevents cycle selections and settings from being changed.
Though you can't predict what each day will bring, the Custom Program function can help you be more prepared. This feature allows you to save settings and options for each drying cycle for quick, hassle-free selection. Wrinkle Saver, Damp Dry Signal, and the Anti-Bacterial function can also be saved into Custom Programs. A saved Custom Program can be recalled for use easily just by pushing a few buttons.
